Our classes are offered early morning for early risers and into the evening for those who need to burn off steam from a long day. Our instructors are professionals who have your healthy interests at heart and will offer a variety of difficulty levels and skills in each class.

GROUP FITNESS DESCRIPTIONS
30 MIN EXTREME HIIT 1/2 GYM – Cardio strength class with intervals of high intensity cardio with short recovery breaks. For Iintermediate to advanced Exercisers.
30 MINUTE BLITZKRIEG BOOTCAMP – 30 minute, lightening fast full-body circuit class for individuals who want a quick and dirty head to toe workout. All fitness levels welcome, scalable exercises will be offered.
ACTIVE WEIGHT LOSS – A weight loss challenge program with educational information, weigh-ins, food journaling and points for resistance training and cardio training. Educational Information will include common sense nutritional information. FEE BASED PROGRAM
ACTIVE YOGA – Active Yoga is yoga for the traditional fitness enthusiast. It is an hour-long class that can be best described as strength, flexiblility, with a dash of relaxation
BALL BLAST – Ball Blast: Fun and energetic strengthening class, using the exercise ball to tighten and tone you head to toe. You will feel the benefits of this class as well as see a toned physique, like no other class!
BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE KARATE – Youth ages 8 and adults. A complete introduction and hands-on instruction in Ikimono Ryu.
BODYWORKS – Bodyworks class uses simple exercises that promotes the body’s return to proper function and the alleviation of pain.
CAVEMAN CIRCUIT TRAINING – A multiple station circuit class using non-traditional implements to produce increased cardiovascular endurance, strength, increased muscular endurance and burn substantial calorie all in one class. 16 years of age or older.
CORE CLASS – A short but intense class dedicated to strengthening the CORE.
DANCING AT THE Y – A fun and energized dance workout to music from oldies to today’s best tunes. All participants welcome.
DEEP WATER X AND OPEN SWIM – Deep Water Exercise is a great overall workout. that will increase your cardiovascular system and make you stronger and leaner.
HARDCORE HALLWAY 1/2 GYM – This is an old school and new school resistance, cardio and calisthenics training routine. It incorporates power moves, strength, and coordination that test and push the individual to a super humanism state. For advanced exercisers. Beginners and intermediate exercisers can work at their own pace.
HIP HOP DANCE FUSION – The high-energy class provides an intense cardiovascular workout by running fast paced Hip Hop combination sets. With up to 500 calories burned per hour. This class is ideal for members looking to lose weight, tone muscles, and/or increase stamina, all while indulging in a fun-filled dance activity that avoids the monotony of traditional cardio training. No prior dance experience necessary.
KINDER KARATE – The program will begin to give kids (Ages 4-7) an appreciation of the martial arts and develop social skills and body awareness. Students learn basic strikes, kicks, and beginning kata. Kinder Karate will be offered one day a week. Payments are due on a monthly basis
MSROM PM– Silver Sneakers Muscle Strength and Range of Motion Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range ofmovement.
RUN JUMP PLAY 1/2 GYM – An exciting activity class just for kids 6 to 13 years of age. The Run, Jump and Play class is split into two segments. The first segment is a workout circuit with a variety of exercises. The second segment consists of group games such as skatter-ball, basketball, kickball, dodge-ball etc.
SOS SENIORS ON STRENGTH – Specialized small group personal training designed to educate and familiarize seniors on how to properly use weight training exercises to effectively improve an individuals health and wellness. FEE BASED PROGRAM. Register at the front desk.
SILVER SNEAKERS (MSROM) – Silver Sneakers Muscle Strength and Range of Motion Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement.
SILVER SPLASH – Lots of fun shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.
STRETCH FLEX TONE 1/2 GYM – 30 Minute class designed to tone the muscles using your own bodyweight. All fitness levels welcome. Scalable exercises will be provided for all fitness levels.
SUNZ OUT GUNZ OUT – Pecs, Lats, Triceps, and Biceps focused class. This class will give you a full upper body circuit workout utilizing resistance bands, dumbbells, and barbells aimed at increasing muscle definition. All fitness levels welcome, scalable exercises will be offered.
SWEAT SESSION– A surprise workout each week will change and have you guessing. Each workout will focus on strength and toning. They could involve balance balls, dumbbells, resistance bands, or body weight exercises.
TRX SILVER CLASS – A specially adapted TRX class for the wants and needs of our senior population. Acombination of resistance training, cardio and stretching.
ULTIMATE WATER AEROBICS– A low-impact class that packs a wallop. This class uses functional exercises for the upper and lower body, while targeting your abs, glutes, and obliques. All levels and ages welcomed. Shallow or deep water options in PM class.
WOMEN ON WEIGHTS – Specialized group personal training designed to educate and familiarize women on how to properly use weight training to improve strength, coordination, balance, and core control. FEE BASED PROGRAM.
Y LINE DANCING– A fun and energized line dancing workout to music. All participants welcome.
Y MAX PHIIT – Small group personal training packaged in an easy to follow step by step fitness program oriented around improving mobility, strength, agility, and metabolic conditioning for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. An eight class punch card for $30 may be purchased at the front desk. YMCA members only!
Y-CYCLE – Indoor group cycling for all levels. A class that features an energetic instructor-led cycling class designed to challenge you with a cardio workout.
Y-CYCLE: THE SPIN CYCLE – Power through a 30 minute high intensity interval workout with high resistance, sprints, hill jumps and climbs while listening to fast and upbeat music. All fitness levels welcome; scalable program for all fitness levels.
Y-WALKING CLUB – A class to improve health, flexibility and encourage a healthy lifestyle through walking.
YOGA – For those looking for a gentle class to reduce tension. This class promotes balance, flexibility, and stress reduction.
YOUTH CAVEMAN CIRCUIT TRAINING – Same great features as our regular Caveman Circuit Training class, only specially designed for ages 8 and up. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Younger participants are at the discretion of the instructor.
ZUMBA – Dance your way through a good sweat. Infused with Latin, hip hop and international influences, you won’t even know that you are exercising! Feel the music and beat and get moving!
IBOX-SHADOW BOXING 1/2 GYM – A mix of shadow boxing, cardio, and boot-camp drills guaranteed to get your heart pumping and bring out your inner strength.

New! Y-Joints in Motion
The Y-Joints in Motion is designed specifically for individuals of all ages with arthritis and related diseases. A flexible class format allows you to individualize the exercises to your capabilities and needs. Participants will improve their joint flexibility and reduce painful joints and stiffness in joints while supported by the water’s buoyancy and resistance. The classes will provide a friendly, fun atmosphere in which participants can make new friends and try a new way to exercise.

SilverSplash® offers LOTS of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a special SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.
